Optimizing Offshore Wind: The OPTIMAR Project and Idneo's Innovative Technology
OPTIMAR, a project funded by the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI), aims to optimize the Operation and Maintenance (O&M), availability, and Annual Energy Production (AEP) of offshore wind farms. This is achieved through the implementation of non-intrusive monitoring, the design of predictive fault algorithms, and the creation of secure data spaces with artificial intelligence (AI).
Idneo plays a fundamental role by supplying high-resolution cameras designed to efficiently detect and identify wear and corrosion on wind turbine blades, towers, and floating platforms. These cameras will undergo rigorous laboratory training, where they will observe the changes they experience under adverse conditions such as salt spray, humidity, high radiation of sun, among others.
At Idneo, we are at the forefront of developing advanced technological solutions that improve efficiency, availability, and energy production.
