      DEVELOPING DRIVER MONITORING CAMERAS FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES

      2024-05-29

      New EU and US regulations will soon require all truck manufacturers to equip their vehicles with a driver monitoring solution. To comply with this upcoming requirement, Idneo is currently working on developing cameras specifically for driver monitoring in commercial vehicles for major Commercial Vehicles OEMs. These solutions are expected to be ready for production by 2025.

      Idneo is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for driver monitoring and can customize its solutions to meet specific customer requirements, including communication protocols & interfaces, mechanical integration, and various safety and cybersecurity requirements.

      In collaboration with Ficosa Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, Idneo plans to extend these solutions to all major OEMs in the Commercial and Industrial Vehicles European market.
