Idneo will be part of the business projects of research and innovation that will benefit from 19.1 million euros from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of the Research and Innovation Smart Specialization Strategy (RIS3)
As follows, the Catalan Government has defined the RIS3Cat strategy through five major business projects: digital applications in biotechnology and health therapies, sustainable energy, healthy eating, green mobility and new diagnostic devices and big data applied to health. It is in this last area where Idneo participates with its innovation and technological capabilities.
These projects will be implemented until 2020 by 138 companies, 64 technological agents and other organizations and will be developed by 1,300 professionals of technical and scientific profile from Catalonia.
The goal is to transform the Catalan economy through the creation of innovative products and services by identifying the areas where Catalonia has the most growth potential, all within the framework of the Europe 2020 strategy that has been putting a great weight to this type of technological projects in order to achieve its objectives of sustainable growth in the upcoming years.
