Idneo participates in the ShineFleet project (Hydrogen-based Technological Solutions for intelligent and sustainable mobility of heavy-duty autonomous fleets) that will address during the next 3 years the main research areas related to hydrogen generation in a decentralized way, for its use in freight trucks. Together with Idneo, six other companies and six research organizations will improve the degree of development of multiple technologies.

Partially funded by the CDTI (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial) within its “Missions” program, the project has been chosen within the “Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility” mission, and will address all aspects of the hydrogen value chain in mobility, which currently have a lower degree of development, which will allow the performance of this type of integrated solutions to be improved in the future

IDNEO’S ROLE

Idneo participates as a technologist in connected and autonomous fleet management, providing connectivity and cybersecurity generation in order to ensure communications and the possibilities offered by vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure interactions.

Supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and subsidized by the CDTI, Idneo, together with the rest of the consortium, formed by Técnicas Reunidas, FM Logistic, Avia Ingeniería, Carbotainer, Cikautxo and Fractalia, will be supported in very specific areas of research at the Institute of Chemical Technology (UPV-CSIC), Tecnalia, Complutense University of Madrid, Autonomous University of Madrid, the National Hydrogen Center and Eurecat.

With this project, Idneo reaffirms its commitment to the energy transition and is at the forefront of the hydrogen production and management sector for more sustainable mobility.
